Model 6060 and 6080 is stand alone.

Model 6000 and 6100 can be connected to a controller so that you can control the flow rate as well as set timing for different flow rate.

Of course with controller more ex :P

I think (marine) therefore I am

ive got the TS12 (6100 + 7091) the controller is timed to an interval between 6-10 seconds and flow rate changes from low to maximum, creating a pulsating motion.... good current....

Sorry to hijack on this thread a bit xfusion, but I am not sure if Im th eonly fella with this problem. When the tunze is on pulse at max power, it sucks in a vortex from the water surface and sprays my tank with bubbles. Im not sure if the bubbles gonna damage my corals, yeah?

Otherwise, the tunze is way nice to generate LOTS of flow on pulse too. I have to relocate all my LPS before they get torn to shreds by the current.

hi riot, it shouldnt be able to suck air from the surface... the cone-shape cover w 'grating' should be fixed properly.. the cone is grated all around but there is a portion which is totaly closed/ungrated, try to make sure that this side is adjusted on top facing the water surface, in that way it wont suck in air nor water from above
