Help on nudis... sum in my tank according to bro ahsiang and ambystoma they suck zoas juices... How get rid of them?? :unsure:

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

-skimmer-less-

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

first u must identify what kind of nudis they are. nudis are obligate eaters. meaning the eat only one thing. the most common nudi is of coz, those on zoos. however, there are other kinds of nudis that eat other corals too. so u must find out which coral ur nudi is coming from...if u suspect it is ur zoa, u can remove them and dip them in lugols. make sure u remove all eggs too.

hmm im wondering...are there any fishes/inverts out there tat eats nudis bt r reef safe?

hmm im wondering...are there any fishes/inverts out there tat eats nudis bt r reef safe?

six lines are known to eat nudis. but it is a hit and miss thing...and i dun think it is effective in controlling it.

yellow wrasse also. but again, hit and miss. mine doesnt eat any pests and is quite lazy haha! but they are nice fishes. can get abit aggressive too.

You have to find the source...usually they hatch from zoas...once you remove yr zoas, they will disappear.

Sometimes they hitch hide on sponges also...as they are also their food source.

And also there are montipora eating nudis... :evil:

dip yr affected corals in lugol solution...
