Hello have a question not sure where to find the answers.. i have a "refuge" now, ok its just a sump full of floating ulva -.- i have never had a "refuge" before, so dunno what to do. should i do reverse photoperiod? or 24 hr fotoperiod or wat. also, will ulva go asexual? thanks. i have added eggcrate to prevent stray pieces of ulva from floating away and getting sucked into my pump and skimmer.

erm not that i known .. maybe i outdated .. but to my knowledge algae is meant to control po4 . No3 they also take .. but not in a way that will be more than a denitrator or water change

ur algae grow , regardless , ulva or chaeto or hair algae , micros , pods , inverts .. eats and release no3 back into water . thats why algae must be harvest regularly ?
