Changing water for large FOWLR tanks (eg. change 100 litres)

Hi Bros,

Currently been using the coralife bucket to mix salt & water to change water.

Can those with large FOWLR tanks pls advise how u do a large water change? (eg to change 100litres)

I understand some use large water containers to mix salt water.

Can share where to buy such container?

Big size Toyogo containers. Have rollers somemore... less strain on your back!

I use fibre tub 42" x 26" x 14" to change, porvided you have place to keep it. Another alternative is buy those big blue container we call' tao gay tung" can buy at Kelantan lane, both can cater to 60 gallon of sea water.

BIGBIRD

Tank 1 : 36 x 36 x 30

Tank 2 : 30 x 36 x 30

Sump : 43 x 30 x 15

Light 1 : LumenAqua LED lighting systems 72W

Light 2 : LumenAqua LED lighting systems 72W

Wavemaker : 1 x Tunze wavebox

Skimmer : Deltec 701 and Deltec TS 1250 Turbo Skimmer

Chiller : Arctica 1/4

Return pump 1: Rio 32

Return pump 2: Rio 20

Pinpoint : PH meter

Pinpoint : Temp meter

Pinpoint : ORP controller

Ozonizer : Sander C200

Tank1 and 2 : 308gallon

"tao gay tung" seems suitable with its huge capacity.

Will visit Kelantan to look see look see.

Thanks to the info by bro angellove ...i visited Kelantan Lane (Blk 30, 1st corner shop) to look for the "Tau gay tung".

There are blue and black colour type.

size also 2 type:

1) height 76cm diameter 44cm

2) height 60 cm diameter 33cm

Bought a black one ($19)....can match my bathroom tiles somemore...hehe

Just to share this info to those who need big containers to do water change.
