Very fine thread like strands of stuff in my tank

I just noticed some very fine thread like strands... finer than hair... they are whitish. What are these?

Nope, they are about 3-6 inches long.... waving about... some parts lightly thicker than others... hope u all can picture what i am talking about

It is on the live rock and some look like spiderwebs...

i oso have, i suspect they are worms leh. dno wat the hell they doin in the rocks too. mayb baby form of bristle worms?? dno? wait for expert to advise.

Oh..i have those too..probably from ssome invert that live in the rock. Rather harmless fellows.

i have some of those spiderweb-like threads on my LR too. its not any invert or worms but dun really know the term for it.

anybody can ID it?

Some types of tube-building sedentariate polychaete worms release spider web-like threads...

or maybe a sea spider, but i doubt it...

Ya!! i spotted that in my tank and i killed it!!!!!! So many things can be formed in the tank..

I use a wooden chopstick and poke them.. they float ard when dead..so juz scope it up!

I tink it's quite easy to kill them once u see them(Sea-spider). They are not as fast or alert than crabs and worms.
