If high NO3 is your concern in marine fishkeeping and you hate changing water fortnightly then this is the device for you to reduce NO3 to undectable level so that your fish and corals can thrive.

You dont need another pump for this unit as it comes with an attached AquaBee 1000 pump and likewise a ORP monitor or controller is not necessary for this application.

For the geniue buyer, I am giving a brand new bottle of "Live Sulphur Media" FOC for this H&S Nitrate Filter together with another bottle with 25% of Sulphur - Aragonite Bleed Bio-media to kick-start the process.

Now you can own this H&S Nitrate Filter for only S$250 with free sulphur media and price is non-negotiable as a brand new unit will makes you poorer by around S$600.

Collection will be at my place (Yio Chu Kang Road) or any other location of MRT station as mutually agreed.

The footprint for this Nitrate Filter is 6" x 6" x 24" (L x B x H) very ideal for in-sump installation. ;)

This H&S Sulphur Nitrate Filter is good for tank capacity up to 1000 litres true volume (after deducting the live rocks) and the pricing of S$250 is FIRM.

Fyi, a brand new unit is around S$650 from SeaLife the distributor of H&S product.

Can this model be used out of sump also?

It is not recommended to run out-of-sump due to the head-loss from the AquaBee 1000 pump which is "fixed" at the bottom of the unit.

Why need to upgrade the pump when it is already an overate pump for this application as it needs to have a oxygen free environment for the anerobic bacteria in the nitrate filter and a powerful pump defeats the purpose of a nitrate filter or likewise for any fluidized reactor eg phosphate or GAC filter. :eyebrow:
