Need Advice On Anemone...

Recommended Posts

My Anemone recently open very big and disturbing my zoas and other corals beisde it, my Maroon Clownfish don't like to play with it,

like to house with my goniopora.

How to take out the Anemone from the tank, I did try once before but look like it struck deep inside the sandbed already.

Any advise or shall I introduce another Clown in?

Tks

Admiring a well designed Terrarium's garden indoor is like walking thru a garden after a whole day work...

how would adding another clown in help?????

if its a difference species clown, the maroon will tear it apart in no time. if its another maroon, the dominant maroon will still wack it for a good while. if that poor fellow survives, it might host in the bubble or hammer or zoa colonies instead of the anemone anyway. seriously.....

Your tank is way overstocked. Seems like your maroon is hosting in your goniopora ? If it does your gonio is not going to like it and sooner or later it will most probably die. If your anemone is on the move you either move your corals away from it or move your anemone out of the tank. Taking out the anemone requires patience. Putting some strong flow at its base will encourge it to release its foothold however it will probably cause a big sand storm in your tank. Either way you can SLOWLY and GENTLY pull it out until it is completely free.

And yes, adding another maroon is not going to help at all.
