hi there RAY

welcome to the hobby!

well

it actually depends on your budget..

if you have the means and more muscle power..

go for a tank with a sump and cabinet built..

:)

read up alot of information on tank set up as it is the basic and most crucial piece of equipment that you need to start with

ill be here if you need any help along the way..

the RSM is okay..

abit costly though..

and you will find it boring after awhile as u will figure out it doesnt have room for further equipment upgrades..

regards,

JEM

This is a piece of advice... If u wanna get a RSM... Ditch the idea... Might as well u get the Custom tank... As u can do more mod to the custom tank... But if u really wanna get a RSM... get the 150D.. They've improvised some stuffs oredi... ;)

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

-skimmer-less-

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

Camera- EOS 50D
