Water ph

Recommended Posts

Hi SRC, I jus bot a American Marine PinPoint ph Monitor, after calibration, my tank water only measure at ph7.5.

Don't know why so low? Must I wait for a few hours later for the measurement to be stable?

If really so low, what step must I take to increase the ph to 8.2?

Tks

Admiring a well designed Terrarium's garden indoor is like walking thru a garden after a whole day work...

Is it Powder form? So its normal for tank water to be below 8 if did not add in any buffer is it?

Yes because distilled water is neutral pH (7.0) so quite normal if adding water that is not buffered
