Looking for MH lights

Anyone know of a single bulb MH fixture (with holders to fit on top of the tank) that is cheap?

Pls tell me where to buy it and the pricing.

Not very sure if this help but I saw sm LFS using normal spot light (those big out-door spot light) but have the bulb chg which is sutiable for marine/ reef!

If I'm not wrong, those out-door spot light range from $20 to $100 and you need to replace the lamp with those that is meant for marine/ reef tank like Arcadia!

There's a link further down that will bring you to a website that is currently clearing stock of 250W MH fixtures, with everything inside less bulb and power cord...

Total with a 10k BLV 250W MH will set u back by about $190-$200 bucks... I think that's about as cheap as it can get without too much DIY...

I got a 150W spot light from carrerfour at $19.90. Ten go an buy a arcadia 10K 150W bulb to replace it!

The spotlight in Carrefour are halogen lamps and are not the same as MH lamps. You need ballast for MH lamps while halogen lamps do not.

Go to Victron and get a proper MH fixture with control gear.

Yah man it's not the same.. don't spend $20 bucks on a fixture only to have it blow your $100 MH bulb!!

Try Henry at ML. He got exactly what you want and got diff size too...

2ft, 3ft, 4ft.

Price wise definitely not as cheap as DIY, but you should check it out.

I know its using German balast kit and IWASAKI bulbs, got 6500k and 20000k option.
