Just a comment, if you are serious about it. Go for a bigger tank eg.3 ft. I'm using 2ft now and regret.

go for BIG tank. i started on a 2 feet. one week into setting it up, i moved to a 3 feet. now... 3 weeks later, itchy for a five feet tank! sigh... where will it end?

hiak, I 100 litres now and then thought the same bug that hit me for freshwater won't hit me for marine. End up 100 litres not enuff now everyday dream of 4ft lol. What to do? Must think of something else man.

if you are really want a 2 foot .......try having a sump or try hangon is better than canister filter........cause canister are no3 factory ......

does your room get heated up in the afternoon? as in. super heated up by the afternoon sun baking the surface? if so, do consider placing your tank somewhere else where it doesn't absorb the grunt of the afternoon sun.

wad type of filter system u using? suggest u go for the sump filter...

better and more efficent.. can make a refugium also.. look around. there are a few bros using 2 feet.. adn their sump also 2 feet.. refugium inside sump..
