Hi Bro,

Unlike Indo and Red sea fishes will will encounter temperature around 28 -29 degrees, temperature around Hawaii tops around 27 degrees thus it may be more difficult for them to acclimate to your preferred temperature. I have previously tried flame angels in tank without chiller but the highest is 30-31 nia.

HTH ;)

no fan no chiller

322, 321 sump, top app 7-10l a day :pinch:

planning to put my return pump outsump but the parts not available yet

Bro, I don't quite understand, you don't use a cooling fan, but how come you have to top up 10L a day? :whistle Your tank is near the window/reachable by sunlight? Your tank temp is normal for a tank without fan/chiller, best is you may want to invest in a chiller, I find chiller save me a lot of trouble as compared to fan which I used previously. Even when I used cooling fan previously, my tank did not evaporate as much water as compared to yours...

Try not to keep any invert/coral with your current temperature, they won't do well. Fishes should be ok, but their colour may not be as vibrant. And do check out your oxygen level as well, higher temp may have lower oxygen level and lower PH. If you increase your amount of live stock with your current temperature, your PH will further reduce due to the amount of CO2 release (reduction in oxygen level).

Hi,

A fan will be useful.

I am now using one fan (think 12cm by 12cm fan ) for my 4 ft tank.

Before using, temp was about 31.5-32 degree.

Now can get 28.4 to 29.5 degree. :eyebrow:

bro, whats the wattage for the fan that you are using?

how much and what brand/model it is? am thinking of getting the fan because my tank temp is max 30, wanna lower it~

or any 1 can recommend me what fan/wattage/model/brand/price for 4 feet tank.

appreciate it!
