Rowaphos in FR

Hi,

I am using a resun 1000 FR with rowaphos and a pump at 2300l per hour. I observed that as the days goes by (say a week), the rowaphos seemed to moved less actively on the surface and those at the bottom of the FR dont seem to move at all.

Just want to check your experience in this area and whether this is normal.

sounds like choke.

infact, rowaphos have the least chance to choke in my experince.

perhaps its the FR problem.

agree...could be FR choke, get it clean...especially the sponge...or check ur pump...

Thanks. will check the sponge.

BTW i just put in the rowaphos for 2 days and already "choke". this means the fine particles likely have choke the sponge.

Also is this the correct way to place the sponge?

yup I set up the same way, but not sure whether is it the correct way..

u can try remove the top sponge...and see hw it goes..
