Is this pipe organ?

nope. thats star polyp. although a clearer photo of the base will confirm the identity. but from the looks of it, i guess its a star polyp. if possible can show a photo of the "stem" then i can make a 100% confirmation for u.

pipe organs have a calcerous base from which their polyps emerge. if urs dun have this base, then its a star polyp. here is what the "base" looks like. the colour does not always hav to be red.

pipe organ has a pinkish hard tube-like skeleton where the polyps go in and hide. i guess the reason why they are called pipe organs is because a bunch of the tube-like skeleton looks like a pipe organ?

star polyps on the other hand grow on a mat, which you can easily tear it out, similar to zoanthids..

yup. the calcerous tubes are what distinguishes pipe organs from star polyps.

It grows like a map, so should be star polyps.
