These problems are quite common...once your water parameters stabilised and the biological process matures...yr algae problem will reduce. And no matter what you do to your tank, your livestocks will not die so easily.

And with yr car coming up....guess its time for you to up the economy of reefing hobby.

try to fetch a good price in pasar malam and sell it away,

store at gf place leaving it empty and wait after 2 years..

a really hardpain decision..

bro, sad to know ur leaving this hobby cos of NS.. I did left the hobby way before i enlisted and now Im back cos Im almost gonna ORD in less than 2 months. A faster way to spend time oso haha..

already setup a nano tank to house some of my zoa frags..

im sure ill be back with a neater easier to maintain reef nano tank..

but for now..
