Looking for Bioballs

For what? Bioballs are so last season. You need to get yourself something more haute couture, like a DSB. :rolleyes:

Bioballs are totally not required in a well managed marine tank with refugium and DSB. Save the money and go without it. I did! B) Tanks that employ NNR do not need a wet-dry chamber. It's best to get all the nitrification done on the sand and in the rocks so it's near to the denitrification anoxic zones.

small plastic balls.. usually black in color, with area for the bacteria to colonize... available at ard 10-20 each at lfs... some of them have spikes, some have grooves in them..

wah la :wacko: big time looser want to fill up his overflow chamber (6"x8") to make a wet-dry filteration :lol: Wet/Dry+DSB in sump+main tank. kiasu+kiasi approach. also very broke so can only get used bioballs :lol:
