Hondace
to all the yumas lovers! Think I saw a v stressed orange ricordea at a small local LFS. The water and lighting condition was bad, most corals r not heathly. Well, thought of rescuing it but I can't confirm whether it is a ricordea or just a mushroom as it has shunked! There r a few more goods one left (about 3-4) on a large piece of rocks while some had died. Anyone got pictures of stressed ricordea to show? Or there r no orange / pink mushrooms, so it got to be ricordea?

SRC Member Jimng Posted December 4, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 4, 2003 Hi, from what i know, two type of ric , florida and yuma. Florida from carribean ocean and yuma from pacific ocean, florida more ex as it takes plane ride to asia, yuma are cheaper and more readily available. Yuma have lots of bubble at the mouth area, florida mouth area does not have bubble.......if they are stressed, they gets bleached and slime away easily....
