SRC Member chrislwp Posted December 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 Hi, It's Pagoda cup. If you are not able to give it sufficient lighting, moderate current and cooling water, I am willing to adopt it for $10. I suggest you save up for a single MH light rather than getting so many tube and also consume 150W of elect. Quote Tank 4x2x2.

SRC Member DrJekyl_MrHyde Posted December 3, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 reefer guy so what lighting are u using for your cup ?
SRC Member DrJekyl_MrHyde Posted December 3, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 what the temp of your tank ... is this cup coral hard to keep ? do you need to feed ? more information please ?thank s
SRC Member reefer guy Posted December 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 im using 2 x 150w mh for my 4x2x2ft tank, without chiller or fans... temp is from 25deg to 28deg... the cup is dong good, its a hard coral. my colleague even have it and temp reaches 30deg. not telling u iyts acceptable though, but at the most, give them good living condition to be happy
SRC Member reefer guy Posted December 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 correction: i meant hardy coral, not hard coral, if ever i made an error.... ambient temp is 26-27deg during normal days, if i swithc mh on during daytime reaches 28deg.. but my photoperiod is at nite; the only time i can enjoy my tank; so wen mh is on my aircon is on as well, drops up to 25deg..... SRC Member DrJekyl_MrHyde Posted December 3, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 so do you think that my lighting is enough?
SRC Member DrJekyl_MrHyde Posted December 3, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 anyway thank lot for the information....reefer guy ....... but i think using a MH on a 2footer will boil my water up to 32 or even more .....so i think the most i can only use 3 x 55watts PL (137watts 10000k day and 27.5 blue antic ) that the best i can provide my tank with without a chiller only fan ....... SRC Member reefer guy Posted December 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 3, 2003 mh on ur 2ft will surely boil water... but u mentioned u have bought it right? so how is it doing now anyway? are the polyps 'long and high up and waving' with the water current/flow?
