Looks like a sponge to me...

Is it purplish colour and hard, brittle like rock? Could be coralline algae. I have such kind of coralline growing on my LR also.

It is kind of soft, and is light red colour.

May be is sponge like what bro said. Will check it out.. seem to be growing..

I also have these on tonga rock. Hope someone can identify it. Doesn't seem to be sponge because cannot see any holes where water flows like most sponges.

K found out wad it is liao... This time accurately... This is a Bright red forams Scientific name is Homotrema Rubrum) stumbled across this when reading...
