If I am not wrong, these are Seale's cardinalfish (Apogon sealei) Size: 8cm (max) Ecology: Shallow sheltered reefs among branching corals.

you are absolutely right. the ones i bought are Apogon sealei. the ones i was looking for is Apogon cyanosoma. but doesnt matter now. both are nice..

this is the Chaetodon melapterus that was seen at reborn. only one left. i seldom see this being sold, correct me if im wrong. but a real beauty isnt it :) but please, it eats only coral polyps in the wild. very hard to sustain. consider this before buying :)

Chaetodon melapterus ( Arabian butterfly fish) is from Red sea. Are you refering to thisChaetodon Trifaciatus

nope. the imagine u show is a melon butterfly, chaetodon trifaciatus. the one i saw was the arabian one from the red sea. now i know this is not red sea shipment, but i saw that fish there. i dunno why also, but i saw it. unless i saw wrongly and saw a fish with similar colouration, black and yellow. BTW, are there any fishes that look like this? black and yellow? because i saw it from the top and it look really like this. unless i mistaken it. it was a butterflyfish. have the same shape

hmm...then i dunno what was the fish i saw. it was black and yellow and have same shape as the chaetodon melapterus. was pretty sure it was that =] but looks like it wasnt on their list. i din see the side view coz they put in a basket. hard to see. only saw top view. next time go there take a closer look..
