how did you manage to place so many dwarf angels together? I have an argi and a potter in my sump waiting to be released into the main 4x2x2 tank but I'm afraid that the fat flameback will kill them. The flameback chase after every new small fishes I dump in, even anthias! Please teach me how! Thanks!

what i notice is a re-scape normally works (am commenting for FOWLR tank) haha.. cos with corals it's harder to re-scape.

there are still a few angel he miss out... like bi-colour etc.. unless it dies ....so never list out... and a sea horse ...

Hi bro divinesloth, I do face casualty also. However, I like to have my rock scape made with many holes or craves for them to swim and hide. Having said this, selection of fish is important but I personally felt a feeding one may not be a stable one but higher chance. Yrs is brazil or african flameback? I understand brazil is more aggressive. I adopt the masslogy to prevent dominant fish. Like the louhan concept and prevent them from establishing themselves. However, for wrasse, if u want to keep, suggest u keep their genre , tame vs aggressive. Mixing them may cause casualty. Now going into angel which seems harder. Few methods:

1. Mirror

2. Rescape

3. Existing scaling with many hideouts

4. Get a bigger specimen

5. Hantan few new fishes at one go but many will not encourage this. However, it works for me.

6. QT

7. Customized made betta box and placement in the tank

8. Quarantine the aggressive fish if possible

9. Order of fishes to put in

10. Having said the above, luck does play a part.

Yaya. Gosh, missed out my seahorse and 2 mandarins. . . Dragonet and spotted. How can I miss them. Thks. For the 2 bicolours and regal, in my QT tank, hoping they can make it to my main tank. The clown tang that went pecking on other fishes tail didn't make it but the other quieter one is eating well and swimming actively.

The terror in my tank is an african flameback.

The Potteri and Argi are caged in 2 betta boxes in my sump pumping them with food.

I'm waiting to buy one more dwarf angel, probably a flame or another argi before I plonk all three into the main tank.

Hopefully three dwarves will divert the flameback's attention from picking on a specific newbie.
