SRC Member ming69 Posted November 3, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted November 3, 2009 Haha.. Just like me, luckily my wife didnt see this thread if she found out that i spend much more $$ on my tank than on the house reno itself.. Wonder what she will do to me ? sometimes it's better to be vague about how much u spend on your hobby. I have clients who leave their purchases with us and bring home after they have quite a few pieces. They say, wife will then question/nag one time. SRC Member Reefzzz Posted November 3, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted November 3, 2009 bro, setup good doesnt mean much....think most importantly is the effort, that one must learn from you...hehe. anyway, cabinet slowly up......did the scape....put in grade 1 sand...then top layer put shell, etc. wave makers put in....but only tested vortec. scaping incomplete as will be recycling some old rocks....did the egg crate to cover the tank for wrasse.....use those plastic wire mesh to cover the overflow to ensure no small fishes will go into the overflow.... Bro, finally see something on your tank.. You been keeping us waiting for a looong time.. lol Quote Main Tank: 5 x 1 x 1 Return from overflow: Eheim compact+ 5000 Lighting: 2x 54W T5 Skimmer: Deltec SC 1350 Chiller: Arctica 1/10 Wave Maker: Tunze Nano Wavebox & Tunze 6055 with Photocell Monitor 1: American Marine Pinpoint pH monitor Monitor 2: American Marine Pinpoint Temperature monitor

SRC Supporter ReDDeviLs Posted November 5, 2009 SRC Supporter Share Posted November 5, 2009 nice rockscape freddy, but im sure u will run out of space very soon as some corals cannot touch each other due to their deadly sting and that will waste alot of your space. you can try creating another layer in the center, just a small thin 1 to put some small corals like zoas and less light needing sps, then you still keep your sandbed for other corals too. just my thoughts Quote [ ] [ ] Reef Reefing Reefed
