Hi All Bro and Sis

I am very new in keeping corals. Been keeping up with my FOLWR tank and toying the idea of setting up an additional reef tank.

However, just to find out do we need to quarantine corals?

If yes, do I need to setup a small tank with chiller + skimmer ..etc to run the quarantine process? How long to quarantine to ensure that the rock attached with some of the corals are free from disease and pest?

i believe is more to the pest attached rather than the sickness in them

I dun quarantine my corals. What i do is to check on the health of the corals before buying; make sure colours are not bleaching, etc...

Depending on yr water paramters, water flow and lightning. For me, zoas and rics somehow dun survive under my care; its usually trial and error...haha :cry2:
