Can anyone advise whether is it a must or recommended to have those blue light on during the night time after 8hrs of daylight???

I notice from sm of the pics that most pple actually leave the LR in the sump which have plants grown on it! Wht's the diff between placing in the sump and inside the tank? Is the requirement of those plants similar to fresh water plants (require CO2 during daylight)?

Thks in adv! :D

That's a refugium you are looking at. It's a form of nutrient export by macroalgae. Algae grow using nutrient in water and then harvested later to be discarded, thus removing the nutrient from the system.

So it is not advisable to grow it inside the tank itself? Btw, wht's the diff between DT & Cyclone Eeze? I have no idea wht shd I use 2 feed my coral and on wht freq or qty!!!

u can put it in your tank but it'll look more like a freshwater planted... placing the microalgae in the refugium would be a better choice because u can put more and it's easier to prune the algae... ;)

cyclone?! u mean cyclopzee... <_<

both are generally the same.. u can see cyclopzee, u can't see DTs.. only green water :eyebrow: quantity and all are listed on the can or bottle..

Yap! It's quite easy to tell whether the bubble coral is a SPS or LPS! However, there is so many coral ard! So, since I'm not sure abt which type of category my coral belongs to, is it better to feed them with both DT and cyclopzee???
