dymax lighting

hi bros and sis, need some advice on this....i juz gt a dymax t5/mh fixture...for the t5, i juz discovered tat it is 2x21 watt...as i will be using the T5 lighting as my main lighting, and mh (2x150w) as a supplement, is the 2x21w t5 sufficient for a 26 inch depth tank of LPS? can i use 24/39 watt tubes on the 21 watt fixture?

You are able to do so but the tube will be under powered and thus will only produced 21w of light.

Thanks bro, will take note of it...so tat means it makes no diff if i were to use a 24W or 39W tube lor cos it will only produce 21w of light...guess i will haf to use the T5s to supplement my MHs instead...

Fixture should be the same. But I think you can change the ballast to 39W ballast then you can use the higher wattage T5.

Your tubes will deteriorate faster if you use the incorrect ballast.
