CS with dark spots

Hi Guys,

I bought 2 CS from LCK 1** bout a week ago. 2 days ago, one died. Realised that it was as active as the other one and has stopped feeding. Now, I realised that the other one has this black patches on its shell. Is it some disease??

Test my water and everything looks normal. Nritrates abit high @ 25mg/l.

Tank is 5 weeks old and has the following,

2 X fire shrimp (Both very lively)

2 X clowns

1 X Yellow Tang

some zoos and srooms.

One leather toadstool ( is this the cause?) Bought it and my shrimps like become weaker liao.

Please advise

Inverts, shrimps are sensitive to Nitrates as well...but your tank fully cycled? if so, maybe the source is questionable....

I bought 2 from ML....tough as hell...getting bigger and bigger

My fire shrimps are from ML... no problems at all leh... Dun noe why the CS i got from LCK 1** like tat??

But anyone experince those dark black spots on the CS b4??

No one can advise what those dark spots are??
