Any Black Tangs Keeper?

Starting this topic to find out if there are many Black Tangs keeper in SG. Would like to learn from your experiences and also to enjoy some photos if got any.

How come black tang so special? Its like a black yellow tang. Sometimes, if u lucky, can find those scopas tang look like black tang. Today saw a reserved black tang at coral farm. Looks so nice. JET BLACK! =) Just dont know why so special..

cause its rare.. actually not that rare, its just harder to see 1, since it only come out of xmas island as far as i know for now

The one you saw at CF, does it have blue tint on the nose to head area with distinctive stripe patterns on the body that looks like a Brown Scopas Tang? If yes, I've saw that too.

Somehow I feel that pcs is a cross bred between a Black Tang and Brown Tang. Cuz a pure Black Tang is suppose to be "jet-black" and as it grows bigger/older, it'll developed a bluish tint on the head area and also along the underneath of it's high-fins. I do come across write-out on Black Tang being able to cross bred with Brown Tang in the wild as the area of this 2 type of tangs does overlap in certain geographical locations.

Yes!! i saw the same one. it looked alot like a scopas tang, but black instead of brown. the tail area there abit whitish.

Black Tang nose is the longest among all other tang. More unique
