Hi,

I just got my nano yesterday, after put it into the water still haven't got any wave too. The water level is slightly (5mm below the top surface), dono is it ok? I'll try to fine tune again tonite! My tank is 3x2x2.

Maybe it's time to do a "how to tune your nano wavebox" Home Video??? haha...

okie, i'll try to do it soon... think that will help.

check what is your controller model number? I guess mine did not work because it was 7091. It should be 6091.

Mine controller is 6091

But I try and try to adjust, still cannot get good wave, Can only get a small wave, also mine dont have the adjustable of number "4" as per the manual which is the screw adjust. Anybody can help?

:thanks:

Qn: do you have any existing wavemaker/powerhead in your tank? if not, you may have some small issue. The wavebox is not meant to be used by itself... u'll still need a wavemaker.

in anycase, what's the "4"? the manual is kept somewhere liao. just remember, turn the potentiometer slowly, turn then observe for a short while...

i suspect for a 3x2x2 tank, your knob should be somewhere at the 1pm location with 16 or 18V. (just a guess).

Yes, I use it together with 6055, there's a very small wave, currently try 24V, I tried 18V also looks no different!! WIll try to fine tune again, hopefully can get it.

that means you're not at the optimal wave yet. try to re-tune it... start lowest, then move up little by little. it should work.

congrats dude!

btw, isn't 24V a little too overpowering?

haha

how about taking a short clip and upload to YouTube?

What tunze wavemaker should I buy to use with the nano? Plug into the slave port of the controller right? I only have a return pump outlet in my tank. Got 2 seio wavemaker but dun think I want to use that as i cannot connect to the slave port.

i'm using 2x6025 + wavebox nano. they serve me well. all 3 running independently.

i think u get best effect if your wavemakers pointing the same direction or opposing to your wavebox. this way, u should have higher waves.
