For all of you loosers out there using Teco chillers, just like me, here's the list for the program. I got it from Koi Voon.

b1 = Set point

b5 = upper hysteresis

b9 = anti-cycling time in seconds (minimum time before chiller turns on again after switching off)

b15 = Off-set for calibration of temperature

b16 = resolution (0 or 0.0)

b17 = Celsius or Farenheit

If I'm unclear about anything, just ask. Don't ask me what's in between; I don't know.

I ain't a looser but a tighter... heh!

Better watch your tongue bro... you don't want to be clobbed from behind with an inflated porcupine fish or slashed by tang weapon.

There are some yakuza reefers here... :)

At the moment you are not in civilised Britain where we can sip tea, nibble scones and chat about the weather. :)

If they cannot understand a joke or take sarcasm when they see one, they had better stop reefing and just read Straits Times. :P

What a coincidence, I'm a Teco owner too. Nice to meet you. <_<

Spade,

Unfortunately, no. I have never used that chiller before. If you can contact the agents for the chiller, they might have the programming details.

Tanzy, at the very first place how do u go to the pgms setting? There are only 3 buttons to play with (which is the arrow and pressing it for a few sec will go to set mode, up and down). So is it the arrow that i need to hold it down and without releasing, go to various setting using the up & down?

To access the chiller programming mode,

1) Press and hold 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons together until display shows 'Pon'.

2) 'Pon' will be displayed for a while and the water temperature will be shown again.

3) Press and hold 'SET' until display shows 'b1'.

4) To change from 'b1' to 'b2' to 'b3' etc, press 'SET' to scroll.

5) To change value for 'b1' to 'b2' to b3' etc, press 'UP' or 'DOWN buttons.

6) Press 'SET' to confirm changed value.

7) After all changes have been made, wait for a while for the idsplay to show water temperature again.

8) If needed, press and hold 'UP' and 'DOWN' together until display shows 'Pof'.

(thanks to Koi Voon for instructions)

This is strange...

MIne has Ps instead of Bs....

Are they the same???

Hi Phang

Forgot all about it, promise to give the different set point.

Below is for you. :D

B setting is for the newer series.

P setting is for the older series.

P1 - Normal display and operation

P2 - Hysteresis

P3 - Lower Limit

P4 - Upper Limit

P5 - Thermostat Action (always set to 0 for cooling)

P6 - Unit of Measure ( 0 for degree celsius, 1 for degree Fahrenheit)

P7 - Offset ( to regulate and compensate measurement error)

Hi,

can I know where do u guys buy the teco chiller and how much is it?

Wonder if the Micro model is sufficient for my 120L 3 ft tank. :unsure:

thanks

I do not think the micro will support 120l, take a look at the following URL

http://www.eaquanature.com/teco.htm

eaquanature do sell Teco chiller, but I don't think they have the best price offer. Others might chip me and let you know where has the best offer...
