FuEl
Awesome tank..don't worry about the algae. They normally occur in phases. After 4-5 months should totally go away by themselves. A few things to point out though... The pink tip heliofungia you have in your tank...they are naturally found on sand beds. Maybe it would be more comfy on the sand? Watch the sting thou...its sting is quite strong to other corals. My 3 feet is already running on 2013 weipro 2014 is too tall, can not fit into my cabinet. so far is working fine, aglae still visiable but under control. The main nutrient export is the marco algae in the refugium. Now no more money for effective skimmer.

IMO the skimmer is the most importantn thing, maybe you might want to save up more for a bigger or better skimmer

That is wat my wife said, she want a colourful tank. The aglae is so far under control, only on the sand bed and the sump tank. I clear the red algae in my sump every two day using a net to scoop away. I also keep two big size sea cucumber to eat away the algae on the sand bed. Last week I put in a bottle of ROWA phos. The algae problem is much better than 2 weeks ago. Hopfully it will be gone 3 to 4 months later.
