SRC Member LaW Posted September 26, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted September 26, 2007 ur coralline algae like blooming flower Quote If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless. Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. Like what product u are using to top up and how many times? Also how many type test kit u use and times a week u test ur water? I maintain my PH, KH, CA and MG stable and PO4 at 0. As long as u maintain e above plus adding iodine, provide water current. Coraline will grow. The Coraline flower u see, started 2 years ago, since then, I didnt place any coral on it and occasionally clear the settled particles. Initially (without SPS), I test e water every 3 day with Salifert test kit. After some time u will know the routine and know how much to add to maintain the water even without testing. Now(with SPS), I test e water every week and calculate and plan the dosage for 1 week.

Because of mine over skimming and overgrown macroalgae in Refugium, I dose 6 drop of Tropic Marin Pro-Coral Iodine every day. (That's is double dosage for mine tank size) Dont try this on ur tank.... I use Seachem Reef Buffer, Seachem Reef Builder, Seachem Reef Ad. Calcium, Seachem Reef Ad. Strontium, Seachem Reef Ad. Magnesium. Didnt try Purple up.
