hi bros and sis, i'm setting up a new 3 feet tank and the tank maker suggested to use an EOS instead of IOS. Apart from possible micro bubbles and leakage, r there any other potential problems that i will be facing for EOS? I'm thinking of using EOS because it allows more space in the main tank and the EOS will be in my side cabinet.

Is there any thing that i can do to ensure that the EOS definitely will not have any chance of leaking?

Any advice?

Main tank: 4.5 x 2.5 x 2
Skimmer: Deltec AP701
Return pump: RD 6

Chiller: Daikin compressor with Titanium coil
Wavemaker: Jebao w-20, Maxspect Gyre xf150

Lighting: 8x54 ATI Sunpower Non-dimmable

Linked tank
Main tank: 2 x 1 x 2
Return: Eheim 1260
Lighting: AI Hydra 26 with controller
Wavemaker: Tunze 6025
My decommed 3 ft setup

Sorry, could you explain why there would be an issue with microbubbles?

I can't see how the water would drain differently in an EOS than it would in an IOS. In both, the draining hole is in the bottom right? If you employ a Durso, there shouldn't be any issue with microbubbles?

Personally don't think there should be any issue with microbubbles. But let's see if anyone out there can shed light on this.
