Sexy shrimp: a tasty snack?

Just bought 3 Sexy Shrimps and prior to release into the tank, I fed my fish well. Unfortunately my maroon clownfish took a bite at the smallest one barely seconds after release into the water, and the injured body drifted down into the waiting tentacles of a plate coral below. The tiny body was engulfed within a minute. :pinch: Quite unnerving.

Here are the remaining 2, surviving still.

agreed, learnt that the hard way

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Thanks for the advice.

Last time i throw in my clapping shrimp. Str8 away eaten by my triggerfish. Fishes will chiong to anything floating in the water. but when the inverts settle on the rock, they usually either too blind to see, or too lazy to find. Unless ur fish very pro-active, go find own food haha. Mine all lazy like...... Anyway haha, i usually keep inverts inside betta box, then release them at night when everything is sleeping. Hope this helps
