i will try exposed the top surface of the wave maker and see how is the effect tonight.. but my tunze controller only come with one knob for adjustment of the wave ??

yeah, which is why im following your thread. am on the lookout for a wavebox now... either that or will diy one. But must first find a controllable power head. (which is not exactly very cheap if you count the controller + powerhead + photocell + the box).

The chart is supposedly the size of the tank plus the resonance frequency setting (but this differ from tank shape and contents).

i feel so too that my rockscaping suck... But i am trying to scrap the rocks higher nearer to the water surface so that i can place those more light / wave demanding SPS nearer to the water surface in futrure..

Will do some new scaping tonight again !

haha bro, ur rockscaping does not suck, just, not ideal =) I have gone tru about 5 rockscaping in my tank....bank want to snap because of that le. Must have alot of criteria in rockscaping...Finally fulfilled all in my current one. Plenty of caves and overhangs, spacious look so water can flow tru, high, so light demanding corals and clams can rest. I also used my rocks to deflect the water flow, creating a moderate current. Haha! dun need wave maker liao

Thanks bro for the imagine... Now then i remember seeing this inside my manual that there is this switch that can change the setting of the frequenct of the wave.

However, i move the nano box closer to the surface yesterday and also adjsut the wave slightly lower abit and i think now it is worker much better ..

Just got a light for my cabinet .. OSRAM LED light bought at HOMEFIX..runing on battery so i wouldnt have to worry about having another wire runing around..

Just kick start my sulphur denitrator and i D.I.Y a chamber for water passing thru before flowing back into my sump..

Had a bad experience with my Denitrator previously that i think i adjust the flow too strong and dose directly without going thru any active carbon which kill a few of my angle fish ..

can anyone share their experience using the Suplhur Denitrator ?

hey, your video, it's displaying wrong orientation when i tried to play it.

besides you should keep it stable at 1 angle... now i see more the camera movement then the wave moment. haha.

First lot of SPS inside my tank.. wonder how can i capture the color of the SPS in my digital camera ? seem like the photo does not refect the color of the SPS.

Photos taken under 15K lighting, it is a bit pink in color but i supose 15K is the idea color temperature for SPS growth right ?

I added one more Hydro Nano at the opposite side of my tank to increase the flow , cos i think the flow is not strong enough..

I did a comparasion how the color of SPS show under different lighting color temperature and indeed the coral look better under a 20K lighting..
