Wow.. this is testing me , i need to take a ruler to measure then. Seem like i am selling products for Tunze and they should give me some commission already.. haha ..

i think tunze website should have all the dinmension, but the box is overall rather small and maybe i will take the mesaurement and post it here one of these day ..

Finally finish up all the piping work yesterday, and put in the water and start the system runing..

Photos of the sump design with GF piping.. very simple layout and design i feel from the tank maker..got lot of free room to put your equipment or media in the last compartment..

The H&S Skimmer really work well ... produces alot of tiny bubbles.

I connected the skimmer to a Azoo ozonizer , however was not sure how much should i set the ozonizer output.. worry that too much O3 will casue damage to the fish and corals.. Anyone can share on this ?

however, i feel that the wave generate from the nano wavebox is not strong enough even though i turn it to max...

someone from the other forum mention that the nano wavebox work best if the height of the tank is lower 1.5ft and below.. ??

Pardon me.. But i thought the top part of the wavebox must be exposed?

Nope.. according to the manual the top parts is to the near to the water surface ? becasue there is water being suck into the top portion of the wave maker.. But maybe i will try adjusting it nearer to the water durface today and see if it performance better...

Saw one of the reefer which D.I.Y his own Wavebox and work really well, regret and should have done one myself too..

Hi. Very nice tank. Love the sleek and simple design of it. Just one comment. Ur rockscaping, maybe you can include more caves? Because from what i see, it just looks like all the rock stack on top of each other. May cause dirt to build up over time. Just a suggestion. Don't take it the wrong way =)

Hi Bro... For the wavebox not say 100% then it shows the best wave movement.

Think need to slow tune down to get the correct wavelength that will provide the best waveforms.

Because from what i see, it just looks like all the rock stack on top of each other. May cause dirt to build up over time. Just a suggestion. Don't take it the wrong way =)

i feel so too that my rockscaping suck... But i am trying to scrap the rocks higher nearer to the water surface so that i can place those more light / wave demanding SPS nearer to the water surface in futrure..

Will do some new scaping tonight again !

I am runing the wavebox at the " max " speed / wave.. but still i feel it is not enough.. some bros told me that i should position the wavebox where the top part is expure above the water and it will work better..

Maybe will try that out tonight..

hi hi, im not a wavebox user, but have been doing some research on it... here're some tips (not sure if they'll work).

1) though not compulsory, it'll be good to have the top exposed (i.e. not fully submerge).

2) full power doesn't mean max wave. It must be at the full resonance. I.e. start from smallest and slowly tune up.

3) There're 2 other switches on the controller that you can use to tune it.

hope this helps... and my tank is a 2.5'x2'x2'... am very interested to get one... either that or i'll DIY one. hehe.

your tank size is very similar to mine as well..

i will try exposed the top surface of the wave maker and see how is the effect tonight.. but my tunze controller only come with one knob for adjustment of the wave ??
