why is my nanocube24 new tank so cloudy

I've set up my 3rd tank at home..

this time round is a nanocube24...

LR, sand and water has been in for 5days...

water still very cloudy..why??

my previous 2 tanks never had such prob before...

pls advise...thanks

This could be a bacteria bloom. Beneficial bacteria is probably multiplying, so much so that u are able to see it. My 3 feet tank also had this. After about 4-5 days, i had the cloudyness problem. Within 2 days it was gone. There is nothing to worry about. As long as u have done everything correctly up to now, things should run smoothly. I would suggest waiting another couple of days to see what happens. In the meantime, let ur tank cycle and dun add any LS.

Hope this will help. If its a bacteria bloom, it is good. Means that all ur denitryfying bacteria multiplying

Check NH4, NO3, NO2... Most probably NO2 will be very high... Just my 2 cents...

It is either bacteria bloom, or ur tank is still cycling. give it a few more days/week
