Will a 6mm tank good for refugium?

Thinking of setting a up bigger refugium for my current one but using a 6mm thick glass..3 feet tank, partition it and having a 4 inch dsb in the middle for about 1.5feet.

Sounds ok to me. The partitions in the tank will already provide additional support that bracings normally provide.

3' shuld be o.k even if you are talking about setting up DSB in the sump....my sump (1.5'x1.5'x1.5') is currently using 6mm glass which is too thick.... damn heavy and occupied a lot of space..... i should use the 4mm glass. too kiasu when designing the sump....
