Skimz Monzter 250

Decided to make a switch of my german skimmer to this Monzter

Went down to Aquamarin to take a look at which model suits my 6ft tank

They were on their way to visit another reefer who is using it and i "thick skin" ask if i could tag along as i would like to see it's performance first before any decision is made.

Upon witnessing the skimmer's performance on another reefer's 6ft mainly sps tank..... i was impress and the reefer actually claims that it's performance was better than his previous skimmer as he was oso using the same brand as i do.

After much hesitation..... Decided to go ahead with it and guess wat .

The purchase was done at 8pm and by 10.30pm, they actually came down to install it for me and by midnight. It's already up and running

The skimmer was fed using gravity feed hence save on electricity for feed pump.

i also thinking of changing but worried on resale value in future, german brands still faster to offload at a better price vs local brand

but i cant decide between a kone or the sm250. mine is a 1000l tank, of course if base on paper specs its to go with the sm250, but i am more a believer of my own eyes rather then paper specs. so still waiting more reviews.

The resale value for german brand also not that great tho. Seen a few deltec in pasar malem, lelong lelong also nobody wants. I feel its the correct timing.I just sold my Reef octopus for $80.. after using for so long still can get back 35% not bad la.! Local brand got local support, anything wrong they are here no need to send to the other part of the world. Furthermore with installation and onsite service if anything wrong..(am, don't flame me ur guy no. 7 told me one ) that why I decided to go ahead with skimz but now don't know which model

sm250 is using 2 X 5000 while kone sk2 using 1 X 5000 so obviously sm250 will double the performance, right? I was thinking kone is like a fashion but it really can work. Bro dachie, did you see it running at am's show tank?I also heard no need run in period. Bro spinx, please confirm this.

i saw ur skimmer went off really fast lol lucky u, my sm200 took me 1 month to sell in fact, maybe with more users of skimz then the resale value and faster offload rates will happen, now i also stuck deciding between sk2 and sm250, but well some1 has to buy my current skimmer 1st before i can really start to crack my head

Yes it seems that my unit does not need much running in.....
