chamty
Thank you all for the kind comments. Have been working hard to control the nitrate levels... If you look closely at the photos, you can see very large bunches of Chaeto on both sides of the display tank and in the sump... + bags and bags of PURA NitrateLock, Seachem Denitrate, etc inside my sump! chamty
Thanks Jack. Nitrate still hovering at around 5-10 ppm.. Ammonia, Nitrite, Phosphate at zero The birdnest & digita (blue polyp) frags from you are doing very well.. The light blue tip acro frag has turn slightly greenish brown though... probably due to nitrate
Senior Reefer yikai Posted December 29, 2008 Senior Reefer Share Posted December 29, 2008 Stunning. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the green carpet. Totally psychadelic! Very retro the colour. =) And i like ur mushrooms also
SRC Member hijackng Posted December 30, 2008 SRC Member Share Posted December 30, 2008 Thanks Jack. Nitrate still hovering at around 5-10 ppm.. Ammonia, Nitrite, Phosphate at zero The birdnest & digita (blue polyp) frags from you are doing very well.. The light blue tip acro frag has turn slightly greenish brown though... probably due to nitrate not dangerously high. beside cheato, can also consider AZNO3 or BioDigest. both product will help in skimming and reduce NO3. as for Azno3, follow their instructions and dose with care. SRC Member peacemaker Posted December 31, 2008 SRC Member Share Posted December 31, 2008 Very nice nano! I've always thought of using these ready-made acrylic boxes, but I was afraid they weren't made hardy enough to withstand the pressure from salt water. Btw, what camera are you using?
