looking good!! glad to hear the ick is more or less cured! :)

yes it is cured... no single ich at sight on any fish... even the ich magnet like blue tang al so sight of infection.

This confirm the effectiveness of copper again.

no choice to do that on main tank and no casulty so far.

i hope the ich will not be stronger after eating the vitamin C haha

Hahaha! I always wondered if all the additives we use to strengthen the fishes will do the same to pests, it seems to have an effect on the pesky bobbit worm in my tank. Good life, been feeding on Henry's reef gourmet and living in vitamin c enriched water. It seems bulletproof in my attempts to kill it.

urs is FOWLR so doing copper in main tank is ok. just that may hav to dose extra coz calcerous compounds will displace copper. anyway, great that ur ich is cured (:

that is my last resort haha

It's a medium size rock, but I epoxy-ed all my rocks together then spotted the worm hahahaha!

How large is your super large potter angel? Pics pretty please :) I used to buy angels, but was very new, didn't have the know how to care for them esp when kena ich. Now focus on nano sized aquarium.

haha... if i can, i would like a variety of fishes too. but coral beauty is too dangerous and would only limit to only 1 drawf angel in the end.

Nope disagree. Tangs, Butterflies and Angels are the more susceptible to ich. Your coral Beau is most likely the longest time resident in the tank tat's why it's unaffected.

I'm using {API Melafix + Aquapharm "Cure Ich" }for 4 days and the result is quite amazing. Hav tried each product individually and they dun work well. However when i dose them together, the itch will subside within a day, even those encyst onto the fish body disappear overnight. Another merit of the combination is invertebrate safe, my soft coral doesn't seem to be affected. But it's still too early to make conclusions, need more time to assess the combined products effeciveness.
