the farm at corner of the road to farmart. very near to farmart. bout no. 65 or something. bought my magnificent anemone at $4 there, LOL. cheap? its too cheap for a 1.5 hand size!

Thkx hopping hippo. I hv chk my water, ph, KH, salt density level and also changed abt 40% with fresh new sea water bought. I went to LCK20 9A late evening and got some fishes from fatty. Sorry no Nemos but plenty of nice different type of damsel from the normal blue ones. Got a nice mid size dory for a good price. It was already eating brime shrimps from the fatty hands. Guess this dory must be quite stable and I took it hme. It feels goods to see the big smile from my little baby. Well no more excessive feeding, Only once in the evening when daddy back. Good night to all and hope u could also pick up something u like soon.

Sorry, no intended insult. Just overheard thier own guys calling him "Ah Phew". I dont know his name, tat's Y i just call him fatty. But all of you who had been there will agree that he is quite a size. U cant miss it. Let not get sensitive abt the issues. We R there to get what we like.

I agree with yr previous post that they are more freindly and helpful compared to a few places i went in LCK, Chua Chu Kang and Pasir Ris. Most would not bother abt you. U like it, U buy it. If u start asking to often and did not buy u get the message, get going.

I even came across one farm in Pair Ris, they put up a sign which I feel personall was a bit too bluntly put forwrad. "Do not Touch, Touch it U buy at the highest price" The prices for the clam were all listed and that sign had me interprete that the price will be lower than stated. But when I asked for discount, they say that the price u pay. It got me wondering and I left without buying one.

I went to lck 201 few times but their service damn bad. and 2 times they have lots of ppl there on 1/1/04 and 25/12/03 but they tell u close and never even let u just take a look. BTW i did tell them I just want to look first but they still said come back tomorrow

2 ways to get there.

1st. By Jln bahar. Drive thru the "Runway and into Lim Chu Kang Road. Go all the way almost until the end and turn right into Lane 8. Go all the way to the end(T-Junction Lane 6C) turn left and abt 5m turn right into Lane 9A. Go almost to the end and u can miss it.

2nd way. via Kranji reservouir,

go onto neo tiew road al the way and turn right into lane 3, turn right lane 5A, turn right Lane 5, turn right lane 6C and quite a distance until turn right again lane 9a. U may also just follow the RED Banner (that says Welcome to Blue Ocean Showroom) that starts at lane 3. Just follow the RED Banner and u shld be able to get there.

Yap. U reach T-Junction (shows 6C) turn left and then u turn right abt 5m. Drive straight down and watch yr right until u see no. 20.

I hv not seen any of the guy wears a suit. I am there always in shorts and T -shirt and it is pretty hot up there unless it rained. I think u may mistaken a customer for the boss. BTW I think he must be the greatest nuts in town that is not wrapped up in chocolate to hv wear a suit to a farm. Not at all appropriate. My toes are laughing or he is trying to impress a jude up there. Unfortunately i hv not come across any jude sales girl up to date now. Hv anyone seen one. Pls update.

something to add on lck 201. i've been there twice and not once i was able to take a look inside....... they always tell u close........ something for sure, i m not going there anymore...... one less customer for them..... that's my 2 cents worth!!!!

as for marine palace, lck lane 9A, IMO, the things there r rather expensive to me...... they r operating in such an ulu place but yet the price they charge r way more ex them some in the neighbourhood lfs....... wonder why????

trust me la ..... They r selling quite cheap than some marine outlets out there ....maybe only on some items which r rear r quite expensive....If u have a rear item will u sell at market price ? I think they r quite reasonable and some more their service good ma .....

dunno about how u determine good service. but this is my experience.

actually i was quite interested in a 3-branch orange tip torch coral, which they r selling at ard $35. then i ask the owner whether can i adjust it to take a good look. he said no. i hack care him and adjusted it anyway when he's not looking. knew what i found out????

the truth is the torch coral only hv 2 branches instead of 3. the 3rd branch had died off and had been chopped off....... and the chopped off branch was hidden from the main tank's view.

i immediately alerted the owner and instead of telling me off for moving his torch, he offerred me a lower price to get rid of the coral. now now....... u tell me is that good service & reasonability or what????

there r ppl out there who r unscrupulously trying to make $$$ when they hv the chance. juz would like to remind fellow reefers to be careful and prudent when buying. nothing else......
