I use tap water.

Recently, I've seen ppl new to the hobby asking about using tap water. It is not true that you cannot use tap water. Yes, DI/RO water will be a better choice, but why are ppl quick to state that tap water is strictly disallowed, making 'newbies' confused?

Coz tap water contains silicate which is a source for algae bloom and chlorine which is toxic to fishes and corals, dude.

SAF dun even allow drinking from the tap, what more pouring into yr tank.
