Hi need some suggestions here, i have seen the MP40 in action in drato11's house and i like the high low (wavebox effect) wave effect, but i have a problem if i get the mp40

my tank is a 3 sided view tank 5ft(L) x 2.5ft(W) x 2ft(H) and the unviewable side is a full overflow so i cant put the mp40 there as the motor will touch water,

putting at the other end , i will not have enough wire to reach it, so my only choice is to put on the 5ft side blowing 2.5ft across.

the question that i have now is can i achieve that "wavebox" effect, or can tunze 6105 do the effect also? then i wont have that much of an issue on the placement, i haven really seen a 6105 in action, in fact i haven seen any controllable tunzes in action

appreciate if any1 can advise me as i getting it before xmas

What is MP40 and Tunze 6105?

Are both also wavemaker?

Can post pic of both?

bro, mp40 has been quite successful in creating wave effect. Nevertheless, this was somehow seen in 4ft tank setup. not sure whether it will be powerful enough for 5 ft. If you are placing it at the 2.5 width....the effect may be too rapid to create turbulent. maybe you want to go iwarna to test it. For 6100 series....i think it can achieve but effect may not be that satisfactory(maybe that is the reason why they came out with wave box.....)......think is to use pulsing mode to create the wave effect....

any brother or sis here can share their experience...

i experince some prob with the mp40W gen 2.

the magnet gen 2 is too thick and cause the inside of the mp4 to spin in circle when the pump starts.

waiting for local agent to settle this prob.

y not juz get the wavebox?

i dun like the wavebox look , very extrusive , i dun like to see equipments , or at least as small as possible where i can hide with rocks
