Where To Buy Sand?

Well. If you have a wavemake in your tank then i would suggest Grade 1 as it would not create a sandstorm in your tank when you are pointing your wavemaker in a tilted position.

But do remember to wash the sands and go thru the sand with a magnet to remove any iron or metallatic particles mixed together in it.

I'm not sure if washing with tap water will do but if u do so, remember to dry it almost completely to reduce the introduction of phosphate and chloramine into your tank.
