seriously its the first time i saw yellow..i mean pure lemon yellow suncoral...other bros maybe see until dun want to see liao..but i suaku...that's why i diedie go grab...

it din open at the time i bought...but opened up in my tank...so i fed it one polyp at a time...gf think i bo liao buy such a troublesome coral...haha

it close up taking the prawn in and then open up again right in front of my eyes lor....very fast actually...

it open up then i feed lor...now also opening full bloom...but i not feeding today...i think once or twice a week good enough

other bros say use things to induce them to open lor..as long they smell food in the water...

anyway, this light is for a future clam tank....now still deciding on the clam tank design..it may just be a very shallow 2ft by 2ft tank on my chiller cabinet...since the cabinet is very high already..i cant do the trapezium clam tank...hehe

Wonder a black background will be better

black background will hide the overflow at the sides better...but i always like the idea of having blue coz of the association blue with the sea....and the blue shimmering in the background is really nice to me lor.....colourful....well, that's just my preference lah..hehe

you really should consider a close loop system.

dunno what loop hehe..i am happy with how the system is coping for now...dun think wanna do any major changes to it

a close loop = a pump which draws water directly from the tank and just pushes it out again. no filtration at all. can use hose or loclines to direct the flow.

thats what I'm doing now.
