brown algae no3 0ppm po4 10ppm.what should i do?

Put SORB4 to absorb ur Po4 its running crazy... :peace:

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

snails are good. but get super annoying after awhile -.- crawl all over my corals...

For me ahh...i feed flakes in the morning and when i come back in the evening, diatoms sprout liao...gana sai.

So i control the food intake of my fishes to once a day and change 10% water every 3 days, but the brown algae still appear.

Tell you la brother, so long as under control can already...i recently use the Reefmax Ridphos. You can check out www.jirehmarine.com

Effectiveness dun know yet, just try 2 days ago only.

i feed my tank heavily everyday to get my moorish idol immune system up. i can easily feed 5-6 times a day with henry's food, mysis and pellets. can see in one day my protein skimmer skim out alot of sai. in the morning, glass clean, evening time, thin film of brown algae.

worst thing is, i dun even have a NO3 test kit XD. but should be alright bah the levels. my corals are still blooming and fish are still swimming, so i guess NO3 levels acceptable...and i have no algae growing on rocks either

Your PO4 is high .It should be zero.Use product like Rowaphos or any other
