Hi all, i would like to know if its okay for my Powder Blue Tang's diet to be mainly on Ocean Nutrition Seaweed (Brown Algae) as its is the only source of nutrition it prefers. It does not feed on pellets and i recently manage to get it feeding on seaweeds. So i would like to know is seaweed sufficient enough for its diet?

bro, maybe you can give your fish sometime to adapt to other foods........for tangs...i think ppl usual will put seaweed or "red bamboo", etc for a start to get them feeding...thereafter...they will slowly learn from other fishes to take on other type of foods(hope yrs is not that picky and stubborn..lol)....at least your fish is eating and wont starve to death....All the best.

Yeah thats what i thought so too as i used to keep Powder Blue Tangs in the past with no success even with seaweeds offered to them. This time around my powder blue is feeding on seaweeds. I hope its fine as i am concerned over the nutritional values of this feller is taking in.
