PROTEIN SKIMMER SUDDENLY NOT SKIMMING?!?!

guys,

my protein skimmer is the Boyu hang-on type (non controllable for the power).

recently i have started on frozen mysis shrimp cubes + brine shrimp flakes + sinking pellet for my fish, and ever since then it has not collected any kopi-o in the collection cup!

how ah?! more than one week liao leh?

i have also changed my canister filter media during the same time that i started the new diet. The new media is: one layer is new filter wool (white colour), another layer is sponge-type (black colour), then some filter media which is like small gray stones, some carbon, and some bio-chips.

which is the cause of the stop in skimming of gunk? is it the diet or the change in filter media?

my tank is 1 and 1/2 ft.

the skimmer is the one on the right.

Is your bubble diffusor clogged? Is your skimmer wall filthy? check this first.
