Scrontium

Read from alot of sources that sps need scrontium. However, do most of sps keepers here dose it? Or do they rely on water changes?

Heard of this new Reefez Calcium Plus which contains scrontium and magnesium....thinking of changing to using it. Just wondering if frequent dose of this mixed kalk will increase Magnesium and scrontium beyond safe levels. I don't think it would happen right?

Always something more important than fish.

heh heh... funny...

if i'm not wrong, ... when coral build their bone structure, they do not only utilise calcium, but also utilises magnesium and strontium in a certain ratio. So my guess is that manufacturers will try to formulate a ratio in which they deem "balanced" for coral consumption in order to avoid overdosing of certain parts...

for that helps :)
