Was noticing my tank abit more than usual today..managed to take these pics...normally the male would be bullying the female..but today he has been a gentleman.

Bought it at $25...quite reasonable..considering I liked the condition it was in very much. Sometimes can get around $20 or below $20.

It started producing sp*rm after I offed the pumps for awhile.

coco worm.. mine also open after I put it at place of moderate flow. if u dun put in with good strong, the coco worm won't come out.

Yea...mine does'nt like water current blowing directly into his tube. He likes the current coming from behind.

same here,i tried to put it in 4-5places till it finally statisfy its place now alongside the featherduster

hey fuel,abt the scooter blenny i got 2 but 1 of them die after i introduce them together 1mth later.. not sure isit both are female anot..saw them entangle in mouth bitings the night before.. was hoping to get a male but afraid they will fight again.

Females tend to be much smaller. For the sri lankan scooters the female does not have the high dorsal fin.

Normally if you witness mouth biting then probably both of them are male.

Just an update..tonight i saw my scooter blennies swimming together..amazingly..the female actually tickled the male's chin using her pectoral fin!

Yea...my tank love hotel..still got my pair of true percs on their zoanthid bed now..

And my gobies n shrimps...interspecies love relationship...lolx..

Erm..dunno leh..I tink because of the way i decor my tank..remind them of lovers paradise..lolx...

Feeding mysis and cyclops and brine shrimp..that about it...

But so far so much courting..haven't seen my scooters actually spawn yet...oh well..think it takes alot of luck to actually have a snapshot of them doing it!
